Abstract
Table tennis is a sport in which two or four players hit a lightweight, hollow ball back and forth with rackets. The game takes place on a hard table divided by a net. Except for the initial serve, players must allow a ball played toward them only one bounce on their side of the table and must return it so that it bounces on the opposite side. Points are scored when a player fails to return the ball within the rules. The playing of table tennis is fast and demands quick reactions.
Table
The table is 2.74 m (9 ft) long, 1.525 m (5 ft) wide and 76 cm (30 inch) high with a Masonite (a type of hardboard).Or it is manufactured by timber, layered with a smooth enjoying low-friction coating. The table or playing surface is divided into two halves by a 15.25 cm (6 inch) high net. The table surface is often in a green or blue color.
